Buddy was purchased to try out as a school & trail pony. He is very well suited to trail riding, but is not ideal for us in the arena setting. He is sweet and engaging on the ground and is brave and pretty easy going out of the arena.

Would suit intermediate - experienced rider looking for a pony to trail ride on the farm or possibly invest in some more education. He does not enjoy flatwork and only has basic education. We have ridden him in the arena and while he will comply, he is not the easiest ride. Out of the arena, he is free flowing and does not mind going places alone.

We have paddocked him alone and with another gelding. He was fine in both arrangements.

Vices: he is a bit touchy around his hind feet and does not like to stand still when mounting up. Both of these vices can be worked on further. He has shown great improvement in both since we have had him.

Will not sell to beginner family, he needs assistance with his vices, so needs an experienced home.
